The Kovačica wind farm consists of 38 wind turbines, each with a capacity of 2.75 MW.
The region is very suitable for the construction of wind farms, due to the configuration of the terrain, due to easier access and connection, as well as from the aspect of wind potential.
Technology and regulations in Serbia have advanced significantly in the last decade.
The importance of wind farms lies in completely clean and green energy, since no fuels and no pollutants other than wind potential are used to generate electricity.
