Last week, Renewables and Environmental Regulatory Institute organized its annual regional conference entitled “Energy Transition Through Legal Lenses”.

Through three panels, the participants discussed the key legal, institutional and practical aspects of the energy transition in the region.

The discussions covered regional policies, the development of renewable energy sources – from prosumers to large projects, as well as the latest legislative changes in Serbia related to the energy sector.

One of the panelists was our programme director, Aleksandar Macura. He presented the challenges that citizens, distributors, regulators, local communities, public institutions and business people need to overcome in order to exchange good energy through electrical networks. He also expressed the hope that we will create a map that will help overcome those challenges.

Good energy on the network will require good energy networking of good and smart participants.
