Discussion on “How can energy efficiency drive development of resilient cities?” co-organized with the Working Group for Chapter 15 – Energy of the National Convention on the EU

RES Foundation with the Working Group for Chapter 15 – Energy of the National Convention on the EU co-organized a workshop “How can energy efficiency drive development of resilient cities?”. The workshop was a part of the SmartCity. Education Festival Belgrade Smart City Festival 2017. We examined positive stories in Serbia – the city of Šabac – and how to replicate them in other municipalities, what EU policies mean for ‘ordinary’ citizens and how they can be represented in the process by not only local officials, but also civil society and expert organisations. This workshop is one of seven events that the RES foundation is organising to promote the EU Sustainable Energy Week.
