Invited by the European Policy Centre, Jasminka Young participated on September 18 in a transnational event, within the project “Reinventing engagement through affirmative citizen consultations”, financed by the European Commission – The European Education and Culture Executive Agency.

Based on her active engagement and professional contribution in the field of environmental protection and energy policy, Jasminka Young was invited to be one of the six delegates who will represent Serbia at this event as an expert on environmental protection and energy policy.

The event brought together representatives and experts from partner organizations from several European countries, including France, Greece, Bulgaria, and Croatia. Serbia was represented by three citizens’ delegates, chosen from previous consultations, and three experts in the fields of rule of law, environmental protection, energy policy and European integration. Together, these six delegates presented 10 key recommendations to partners from other European countries and participated in active discussions on how these recommendations can be further improved.
